Hagel spoke to Bagel
Let’s paint a tiny sea
So they bought a lemon sherbet
And
Plucked hairs off their knees
Down to the sand spit
Walking side by side
Whilst making paper strips
Rolled out of cheese
They cut out a wooden paint pot
Filled it up with jam
Blessed it with furniture
To do with as they pleased
They came upon an ocean
And were taken by surprise
When
A wave leapt up and hit them
Square between the eyes
Taking up their easels
They hit each others head
Landed on a stony beach
And thought they were dead
The tide came in so quickly
And swept their thoughts away
Now they cut up onions
To pass the time away
